What is Needull?

This has taken a really long time to write. But, the clarity has come, finally!

Remember those old times, when a friend would recommend a book to you and would give you a brief on why you should read it. Just enough information to trigger your interest. We have many good recommendation sites for books on the internet but there is still dearth of sites which recommend good articles on the internet.

Per my observation, people are spending more time reading articles than they are reading books. In office catching a quick break or in a cab browsing news articles – we are reading more and more articles on the net.

But, no two people have the same taste. I like articles on Movies and Philosophy while you like articles on Science and Business. And so, we propose Needull as a possible solution.

The Magnets pick the best needulls and post it on the site writing a short reason on why others should also read the article.

And as a reader, we get the best hand-picked articles (needulls).

Inviting people to contribute and read on Needull.

Happy reading 🙂

Please drop a mail on needull.info@gmail.com and we will invite you to become a Magnet.

  1. Interesting concept.
I am probably cynical, but thinking people will come and read what they should go and read strikes me as optimistic.
    Good luck.

  2. Thanks Bill! I was actually looking for needle.com taking out needle from the phrase “needle in a haystack”. That domain was already taken. So, had to settle for this variation 🙂

  3. Hi Needull. Thank you for wanting to follow my poetry adventures. Very interested in all things paranormal conspiracy theories and observing life. Writing a passion that keeps me sane and alive! Great to meet you. The Foureyed Poet.

  7. I like the concept of having articles about everything on your blog. Also, I totally read that Hillary Clinton “parody” on Medium. It actually sounds like she was the one who was writing it.

  8. Very clever concept! Best of luck with it. BTW, thanks very much for liking my post on the benefits of coconut water.

  9. This sounds like a great idea! Looking forward to seeing what happens here? Thanks for the follow. Hope you enjoy some of my thoughts and my flash fiction.

  15. Seems cliche to say it but, `thanks for visiting my blog and liking my poem `Proclivity’. The premise you present for `needull’ is both intriguing and worthy of its effort to broadcast what is available out there on the great Internet. It is not difficult to be lost amidst the vastness of its content so, any help for others to find those interesting nuggets of insight or expression is appreciated. All the best

  16. I’ve been writing all day and am not supposed to be online on writing days but always check my email for ones regarding my blog and there you were! How’s that for a run-on sentence? 🙂 Great to meet, Needull. I do hate calling you Needull and would much rather address you by name. May we know it? I’m always finding interesting articles on the Net, but being an eclectic reader, anything goes regarding subject matter. My original blog posts tend to be inspirational/spiritual in nature. If any of this sounds like what you’re looking for, then sign me up. I’m an educator by nature and love sharing as I learn. Thanks for the follow, and best of luck with this fabulous idea! 🙂

  17. Thank you Tina for your very detailed reply. We are constantly looking for great article recommendations. If you are interested, let me know. Will send you an invite to become a contributor. As a website it is called needull but the articles are posted by individuals like Neelabh, Aayush, Neetu and others.

  19. On another note … Hey!! Thanks for stopping by “It Is What It Is” … and the follow. Hope you enjoy your visits there!! Hugs … Peace!!’ __/l\__

  20. I got to know your blog through WordPress reader. Let me know if you would want to share some interesting article on needull. Thank you for visiting 🙂

  21. Ooh, this sounds great; I’m going to have to do further investigating on your site! In the meantime, thanks for following and liking a post on The Expositrix! (After a stint battling lots of chaos, I’m hoping to return to the posting in the next few days.)

  22. Hello Needull, my name is Gregory Thomas. I’m a writer, and post my poems and stories on my blog at “Cascadialegends.wordpress.com” I just wanted to thank you for liking my poems and blog. I wish for the best of luck to you in your endeavors, let’s keep in touch. 🙂

    -from your friend,

    Gregory Thomas

  23. This is a great idea. Glad to be in your company. Anything can make for a good article, or needull. I read a post on a different blog that stated book reviews were always boring. What a terrible thing to say. It all depends upon the writer of the review. Anyway, I love what you’re doing.

  24. Hello there, thanks for appreciating my writing, and yes, great idea! Very creative and refreshing in this digital era. Much love to you ♡

  25. Interesting concept and interesting blog.
I am definitely come here again. Keep up the good work.

  26. Hello,
I just wanted to pop over and thank you for your recent visit to my blog. Thanks also for the likes and the follow as well.

  27. Great concept! And I’m sure you have great ideas for follow-up! Thanks for following Oh, the Places We See. Here’s hoping that people are still reading blogs as well as articles, novels, etc.

  28. Neelabh, This is Shilpi here and I would like to be a Magnet. I write articles on banking and also provide links to articles worth reading related to banking. I change blog accounts every year. This particular account is my latest 2017 blogs. Kindly add me as a contributor ands please add ‘Banking’ or ‘Finance’ or ‘Economy’ as one of the headings.

  29. I’m glad you liked my post “Let’s put on a show.” Now that the festival is behind me, I’ll be writing about revisions, finding an agent and the editing and marketing processes, experiences I hope other writers learn from as I go through them.

  30. I love the articles being published. But discussion is important as well. That happens only through interaction. How does one leave a comment on an article on YOUR site (not the site where it was originally posted)? You are bringing like-minded readers together – there’s potential for learning from each other.

  31. I am sure you have received many awards but you deserve the recognition. I am excited to let you know that I have nominated you for the Bloggers Recognition Award. I am glad to have come across your blog. Have a look at my recent post for the rules, questions, etc. I hope you will accept the nomination. Congratulations!

  32. What a cool blog idea — and btw, thanks for following teresabruce.me. I’m hoping to reach a huge group of new friends to virtually drive-along on the yearlong road trip recap. Cheers!

  33. I have been following your site for a while now so I am not new to Needulls! But I just thought I’d stop by to say that this is an amazing initiative 🙂
